Summary
We ship from China to the United States. Delivery time = processing time (making + packing) + shipping time (carrier transit). Most orders (approximately 95%) arrive within the time windows below. For guaranteed-by-date delivery or rush needs, please contact info@draperyus.com before placing your order.
Note: Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may vary depending on customs clearance, carrier delays, or peak-season logistics. Customers will be notified by email if any significant delay occurs. Production or shipping delays caused by force majeure events (such as weather, customs inspections, or public holidays) are outside our control.

1. Where We Ship
We currently ship to most parts of the United States (excluding islands outside the continental United States and military areas). The scope of other international regions will be gradually expanded. We deliver to street addresses (home/office). Please contact our support team before placing an order if your country is not listed at checkout.
- PO Boxes & Military Addresses: We cannot ship curtain and hardware orders to military addresses or PO Boxes. Fabric swatches/sample booklets can be shipped to PO Boxes in many regions.
- International Orders: DRAPERYUS ships from China-based fulfillment centers. Import duties, VAT, and customs inspections may apply depending on the destination country. Customers outside the United States should confirm before checkout whether their destination is eligible for delivery.
Areas NOT shipped to in the US:
- Inhabited U.S. Territories: Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa.
- Uninhabited U.S. Minor Outlying Islands: Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Atoll, Navassa Island, Palmyra Atoll, Wake Island.
- Major Overseas U.S. Military Bases (on foreign soil): Guantánamo Bay (Cuba), Diego Garcia (British Indian Ocean Territory), Ramstein Air Base (Germany), Camp Humphreys (South Korea), Yokota Air Base (Japan), Yokosuka Naval Base (Japan), Sasebo Naval Base (Japan), Kadena Air Base (Japan), Naval Support Activity Bahrain (Bahrain), Al Udeid Air Base (Qatar), Camp Lemonnier (Djibouti).
2. Processing Time vs. Shipping Time
- Processing time (order making, quality check, packing): 3–5 business days in ordinary periods. Holiday peak periods (e.g., CNY / major holidays) may extend processing to 10–15 business days.
- Shipping time (carrier transit): Depends on the product and the shipping method (standard vs express). See Section 4 for product lead times.
Total time = Processing time + Shipping time. (Example: A custom curtain with 3–5 business days processing + 9–14 days express shipping = typical total of 12–19 business days.)
Orders are processed Monday–Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays. Orders placed after 6:00 PM local time or on non-business days will be processed the next business day.
3. Carriers & Carrier Selection
We work with high-reputation carriers (USPS, DHL eCommerce, DHL Express, FedEx, UPS, and, where applicable, other local carriers). We select a carrier based on destination, package size/weight, and the fastest/most reliable routing. Customers cannot normally choose the carrier.
Once a shipment has been handed over to the carrier, DRAPERYUS is not responsible for delivery delays caused by the carrier, incorrect addresses, or customs processing. Customers are encouraged to monitor tracking updates regularly.
4. Product Lead Times (Typical)
These are lead-time ranges (from fulfillment) — processing time is additional.
- Fabric Swatches: 9–14 business days (DHL / USPS / FedEx / SF, no signature).
- Sample Booklets: North America: arrive in 10–15 business days (shipping time varies).
- Ready-made & Custom Curtains/Drapes: 9–14 business days typical shipping; some custom styles or peak season may be 15–20 business days. Door-to-door; signature may be required.

Blinds & Shades: Shipped via DHL Express / FedEx / UPS. Lead times by style:
- Bamboo Shades: selected styles 9–14 business days.
- Roman Shades: plain styles 9–14 business days.
- Roller / Zebra / Cellular: 9–14 business days.
- Venetian Blinds: 9–14 business days.
- Express / Rush: When available, express shipping shortens carrier transit (e.g., express transit 9–14 business days for some items); processing time still applies and may not be shortened for highly customized items.
Please note: During high-demand seasons or public holidays, production and shipping times may be extended by up to 10–15 additional business days. Updates will be communicated via email.
5. Shipping Fees
All shipping fees and thresholds are calculated at checkout and shown before payment confirmation. No hidden fees are charged after checkout unless required by destination customs authorities.
- Curtains, Drapes, Blinds, Shade Hardware: Free Express shipping (Typically $0 depending on destination & package; exact cost shown at checkout).
- Fabric Swatches: $0 (Only the shipping fee needs to be paid).
- Sample Booklets: North America $0 (varies by offer; only the shipping fee needs to be paid).
6. Duties, VAT & Customs
- United States: In many cases, there are no additional fees at delivery — duties/VAT are covered where applicable.
- Outside the US: We cover duties & VAT in most regions, but local customs may still charge fees based on regional rules. If local customs imposes additional fees beyond our coverage, customers are responsible for those charges. We recommend checking local import policies prior to purchase.
Note: Packages refused or returned due to unpaid customs fees are not eligible for free reshipment. Actual return shipping costs and customs charges will be deducted from refunds, if applicable.
7. Tracking, Delivery & Signature
Once your order ships, we will email you the carrier name and tracking number. Tracking information may take 3–7 business days to update after shipment. You can monitor the status on the carrier’s website or via 17track.net.
Door-to-door service is provided. For security reasons, some high-value orders may require a signature upon delivery.
If tracking shows “delivered” but you have not received the package, customers must contact the local carrier within 3 business days for investigation. Then, contact us if the carrier cannot locate the parcel.

8. Lost or Damaged Items
DraperyUS is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from incorrect shipping information provided by the customer. Please double-check your delivery details before confirming payment. If an item arrives damaged or is lost:
- Keep all packaging and take clear photos of the damage (package & product).
- Report to the carrier promptly (many carriers require reports/photos within 12–36 hours).
- Email info@draperyus.com with your order number, tracking number, and photos.
- If confirmed by the carrier, we will assist in locating, replacing, or refunding per the case and per optional Worry-Free coverage.
9. Change of Address
Address updates can only be made before the order is shipped. Once the carrier has picked up the package, we are unable to reroute deliveries. Please confirm the shipping address carefully before placing your order.
10. Where Orders Ship From
As required by Google Merchant Center, we disclose shipping country of origin information to ensure transparency and customs compliance. Products are manufactured and shipped from certified factories that meet international export requirements.
- Fabric swatches and sample books: Typically shipped from our Shanghai office in China.
- Curtains, blinds, and other custom products: Shipped directly from our production facility (the shipping location depends on your order details and delivery address).

11. Holiday & Peak-Season Notice
Holiday timelines may vary by region and carrier. DraperyUS will display active delay notices on the website during peak periods (e.g., Chinese Lunar New Year) to ensure transparency for customers before purchase.
Delivery times may be extended during major holidays and peak shopping seasons. For example, processing or shipping may add several weeks (up to ~45 business days in extreme peak windows). Please allow extra time and order early for holiday delivery.
